Through Their Eyes: With Knowledge Comes Options W/ Nefertiti Moor

A life cycle facilitator's viewpoint is informed by the families we serve, the care teams we interact with, and the larger dynamics of our sociopolitical climate. Deeply Rooted is a platform for life cycle facilitators at the beginning and end of life from around the world to share experiences, “Through Their Eyes”. This time we’re going to Philadelphia.

Nefertiti Moor (she/her), empowers the Afrikan Diaspora to talk about death & dying without fear. Through legacy planning, living funeral ceremonies, and green burial + home funeral education; our community reclaims death care, eases anxieties, and creates intentional transitions. As she likes to put it, “Let’s honor life, even in death.”
